Accept, if you will, the challenge of such as the Suck Valley Way, the Western Way, the Arigna Mines Way or the Tocher Valley incorporating the pilgrims path to Croagh Patrick. More locally take a pleasant stroll from Caherlestrane to the top of Knockma or a walk through the peaceful woodlands of Rinville Park near Oranmore, or Coole Park near Gort, with all its fascinating historical literary connections.
Also pleasant discoveries are to made amongst the native deer of Portumna Forest Park, and the woodlands of Woodford, Ballygar and Mountbellew.
