The Ard Ri House Hotel is located on the north side of Tuam, on the main N17 Galway/Sligo Road.
We are approximately 30 minutes from Galway City Centre and about 40 minutes from Ireland West Airport Knock. The Ard Ri House Hotel is the ideal location for business or leisure. From Sligo to Tuam
Follow the N17 to Tuam. When coming into the town, go straight through both roundabouts following signs for the town centre. After the second roundabout, the hotel is on the right hand.
From Limerick to Tuam
Take the M18 northbound towards Gort. Continue onto the M17, bringing you straight to Tuam West. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N17. This bypasses Tuam town. At the end of the Tuam Bypass, take the second exit on the roundabout, turning right for Tuam town. Passing Parsons Garage, go straight through the next roundabout. Ard Rí House Hotel is located on the right hand side after the roundabout.
From Dublin to Tuam
Take the M6 from Dublin heading West Signposted the West. Leave the motorway at Exit 18 (Athenry, M17, M18) . Following directions for M17 (N), bear right at the fork when taking the exit. Continue onto the roundabout where you will take the 3rd exit following signs for TUAM / SLIGO M17. Continue on the M17, bringing you straight to Tuam West. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N17. This bypasses Tuam town. At the end of the Tuam Bypass, take the second exit on the roundabout, turning right for Tuam town. Passing Parsons Garage, go straight through the next roundabout. Ard Rí House Hotel is located on the right hand side after the roundabout.
Leave the Motorway at Exit 19 signposted for Galway Airport. At the Roundabout take the 3rd exit signposted Sligo/Tuam/Airport and go straight through the next roundabout signposted Sligo/Tuam/Airport and take the N18 until you reach the village of Claregalway. At the T Junction turn right onto the N17 and coninue to Tuam The hotel is on the left hand side past Tuam.
